Nogürt is proudly certified gluten-free by the Gluten-Free Certification Organization (GFCO), a division of the Gluten Intolerance Group, the leading independent certifier and advocate of gluten-free-foods.

Gluten is a complex protein found in grasses and grains such as wheat, rye, and barley. Much scientific evidence suggests that humans lack the ability to produce the enzymes necessary to completely break down and digest this protein.  Moreover, many health problems including Autistic Spectrum Disorders, ADHD, Celiac disease, Gluten Intolerance and certain digestive disorders require the avoidance of gluten altogether in order to minimize or avoid symptoms associated with those conditions.

Numerous dietary lifestyles now advocate a gluten free diet. We proudly serve these communities by maintaining Nogürt's gluten free status.

The GFCO regularly laboratory tests Nogürt at under 4ppm of gluten -- this is a level  16ppm lower than required to be considered gluten-free.  To help ensure this result, Nogürt is packaged on dedicated equipment.
